Experience a wide range of materials, processes and concepts in the 3D courses such as clay modeling, ceramic hand building, wheel throwing, slip casting, metal casting, woodwork and digital fabrication. Opportunities range from functional object-making to jewelry, from figurative sculpture to interactive kinetic and performative sculpture.
2D Facilities include Painting and Drawing studios, Printmaking Studio with Intaglio, Relief and Screen Printing.
Our faculty will introduce students to the aesthetic concepts of photography and equip them with various processes and techniques, from traditional black-and-white photography to alternative processes and studio lighting to digital and drone photography.
Facilities include a community and two advanced black-and-white darkrooms, an alternative darkroom, a digital printing studio with Eizo monitors, Epson SureColorP5000, 7880, and 9880 printers, Epson scanners, professional lighting equipment (strokes and continuous lighting), and cameras: 35mm, medium format, and large format, as well as professional digital Hasselblad and Canon, available for check-out.
