The Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery proudly presents “I|AM: Muxe, S/He, Him, Family: Graciela Iturbide, Vittorio D’Onofri, Liz Cohen, Jess T. Dugan, Mariette Pathy Allen, Catherine Opie, Keri Pickett, Roy Blakey, John Kirby and poet TC Tolbert” in an exhibition that delves into the diverse narratives of trans and nonbinary identities through the powerful mediums of photography, printmaking, video and poetry. This exhibition celebrates the unique experiences of gender identity, cultural heritage, and family ties within the trans, nonbinary and queer communities.  Some images are borrowed from Douglas Nielsen's collection.

The gallery and its programs are free and open to the public. 

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and before most evening performances in the Center for the Arts theaters. For additional details, call 520-206-6942

The Bernal Gallery will be closed on November 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday and Winter Break on December 23-January 3. The exhibition will reopen January 6 - 10, 2025.
