Dana Roes earned her MFA in Painting from the University of Pennsylvania and has been honored with several prestigious awards, including a Fulbright Fellowship and a residency at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Her work has been included in numerous exhibitions throughout the United States as well as in Sweden, Iceland, Australia and China. Before joining Pima Community College, Dana served as Chair and Director of Humanities and Fine Arts at Florida SouthWestern State College, where she received the NISOD Award for Teaching Excellence. Prior to her dedication to community colleges, Dana was a Professor of Painting and Director of Graduate Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
